MPS Introduces Vaping Detection Pilot Program

In the U.S., 7.8% of high school students have admitted to vaping. Minneapolis Public Schools has taken an initiative toward trying to lower those numbers and help other students feel better about bathrooms in their schools. The Big Cheese of MPS Voices talks with MPS Executive Director of Student Support Services Dr. Meghan Hickey about the new Vaping Detection Pilot Program, which has begun in four schools in the district. Also Dr. Hickey explains the “Help Me” app.
