Welcome to another blog post! So happy to have you back here again! Today I will be chatting a little bit about bugs. I am super passionate about them, and I have trouble understanding the hatred for them. They are strong just like us humans! I try as hard as I can, and I still can’t quite understand the hate for bugs. Perhaps I love an underdog and want to support creatures that are commonly hated. But I don’t understand the fear that people have surrounding creepy critters. I think that every critter no matter how big or small is important to the ecosystem. I know that bugs are not fuzzy and adorable the way that other mammals might be. They are also not beautiful in the way that fish and amphibians can be. But I think bugs are more powerful and strong than these other animal groups.
Bugs can survive everything. Look at a cockroach. Those things are so hard to kill. They are strong and resilient. It is so hard to kill a colony of cockroaches. They keep coming back, no matter what you do it seems. This is part of the power that I see within insects.
Other insects, such as ants and beetles can sometimes carry more than 1000 times their own weight. They are so small, but so mighty at the same time. I really adore the amount of strength and stamina that these guys have!
I think the takeaway for you from this blog is that perhaps we should look to bugs when we are looking for aptitudes of strength and power. I think that we should try to be like bugs with our resiliency and understanding of the amount that we can take on. We are small like bugs in the grand scheme of things, but so very important to every place that we live. We are like bugs, we are capable, and we will continue to overcome whatever comes our way! We are strong!
