Graduation season is here at Minneapolis Public Schools, and Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams joins Manny Hill in her final appearance of the school year on the School News Podcast. Dr. Sayles-Adams congratulates the Class of 2026, and acknowledges two music educators who are quarter-finalists for the 2027 Grammy Educator of the Year award. She also highlights the 2026 Athena Award winners, as well as other athletic achievements around the district, including a flag football city championship, adapted bowling state championship for Roosevelt High, and Southwest High School’s unified soccer Division B title. Also a teacher from Olson Middle School received the Fox 9 “Top Teacher” Award!
